Distance Education at Erie 1 BOCES focuses on promoting and supporting the pedagogy, instructional systems, and technologies necessary to deliver quality educational content and learning opportunities for K-12 students. To assist districts with their goal of graduating students who are prepared for careers or college in the 21st Century, Erie 1 BOCES supports all forms of online learning, from course ware and teacher-created LMS courses to traditional distance learning/virtual field trips to innovative technologies such as virtual environments.
